A full-scale redesign and rebuild of Granshaws Chemist’s digital presence, transforming an outdated WordPress site into a fast, modern, and SEO-optimised platform powered by SvelteKit, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and custom API integrations.
Overview
Granshaws Chemist approached me to modernise their online presence and improve the clarity of their services for patients. Their previous WordPress site had become outdated, difficult to maintain, and lacked the structure needed for strong SEO performance.
The new website was rebuilt entirely from scratch using SvelteKit, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS, focusing on speed, accessibility, and clean UX. I designed the layout in Figma, implemented a custom API to dynamically render service content, and created carefully structured SEO-optimised pages to help the pharmacy reach more people in their local area.
